Friend, are you a reader? Looking for some good books to add to your list? Interested in reading about climate change? Well look no further, I’ve got you covered! I have my favorite climate change and environmental books that I highly recommend. So let’s dive in!

The Sixth Extinction: An Unnatural History by Elizabeth Kolbert
I actually read this book in a senior course in my undergraduate. This book is about the rising concerns of the sixth extinction in amphibians. The book discusses and overviews the other extinctions as well as explains the current problem. In her book, she also tackles the issue of climate change and how we as humans are playing a big role in that.
Saving Us: A climate scientist’s case for hope and healing in a divided world by Katharine Hayhoe
This was a great book! Katharine Hayhoe is a climate scientist who now focuses on using communication to help others learn to talk about climate change with anyone. Her book goes through how to talk to different people about this difficult topic. She breaks it down into very digestible sections that you can implement. This is for anyone who wants to have a conversation with others about issues that matter to you, in a way that is effective.
Steward of Eden by Sandra L. Richter
This is a great book for a Christian who also cares about the environment. In this book, the author breaks down how scripture makes it clear that we should care for the environment. This book allowed me to feel connected to others who think like me and I really enjoyed it!
The Story Of More by Hope Jahren
This book is beautiful words that meet the facts about climate change. I really love this book by how beautifully written it is. She lays down the truth of climate change by stating the facts while saying it artfully. A wonderful read!
I hope these books have been added to your reading list! Please feel free to share this with a friend!
